Ezequiel Blumenkrans: Cofounder and CEO When he’s not helping prepare the next Generocksity event, Zeke can be found playing soccer, outdoor rock climbing or discovering new music. He also enjoys travelling and emergency medicine, spending several months volunteering as a medical first responder on a Red Cross ambulance in the Middle East. His love for philanthropy can be attributed to a major health complication he endured as a teenager as well as his role as a Family Volunteer at Canuck Place Children’s Hospice, in which he works closely with children with life-threatening illnesses. He is also the Vice President and Cofounder of the South Sudanese International Youth Ambassadors (SSIYA), a non profit that aims to foster unity among South Sudanese youth through workshops and seminars in South Sudan. In 2015 Zeke received the prestigious Giving Heart Award for Outstanding Youth Philanthropist by Vancouver's Association of Fundraising Professionals.
