Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Bailey loves to two-step, tie-dye, and enjoys a good pun. She is entering into her second year at McGill University where she studies business at the Desautels Faculty of Management, with interests in Finance and Marketing. In high school, Bailey worked as a swim instructor and swim coach, providing an active outlet to the local community. As well, she volunteered as a teen mentor for local youth through the Big Brothers and Big Sisters Club of Calgary. Bailey strongly believes in effecting change within the local community, through the younger generation. She is very excited to be beginning this next chapter with Generocksity where she hopes to effect change within the community of Montreal, and beyond.
Noa Givon: Street Team Member
Noa is a Vancouver transplant starting her second year as a Psychology major at McGill university. She is excited to be teaming up with a non-profit organization as she has worked closely volunteering with both youth and elderly. When she's not hitting the books or promoting Generocksity, Noa enjoys preforming improvisational theatre, exploring her new city and making art. She's looking forward to kicking off Generocksity's good credit in Montreal!
Stephanie Frankel: Street Team Member
Born in Vancouver, BC, Stephanie Frankel is currently a first year sciences student at McGill University, and is excited to embark on an exciting new chapter of her life. Her service-orientated, organized, and social personality has led her to be heavily involved in the Belkin House soup kitchen as well as a competitive improvisation team for over 3 years. Being apart of the Generocksity team will give her a chance to combine her ability to think on her feet along with her passion for helping others in the most effective and fun-filled way possible.
Jordan Itzkovitz: Street Team Member
Jordan was born and raised in Montreal, and continues to live in his hometown as a Software Engineering student at McGill University. Jordan is a very passionate person who carries this aura to the sports teams he plays on and the people he cares about. He believes that this fundamental attribute along with his experiences in team sports will be a great fit for the Generocksity squad. Generocksity gives Jordan the opportunity to transmit his passion for helping others into hard work for the community through an incredible organization.
Laurie Mercier: Street Team Member
Laurie is a second year double major in political science and international development at McGill University. Her experience includes empowering marginalized communities and promoting economic development through micro-finance and educational opportunities. Laurie looks forward to assisting in starting up and helping manage the early-stages of Generocksity’s Montreal chapter, and she firmly believes she can greatly contribute to Generocksity’s Montreal chapter as she is driven by opportunities to combine her fluency in both French and English with her passion in global philanthropy.
Saul Zetler: Street Team Member
Saul is a 5th year electrical engineering student studying at McGill university. He was born in Vancouver and attended school with Ori Nevares and Zeke Blumenkrans, two of the co-founders of Generocksity. As president of the musician’s collective at McGill university, Saul is well connected to local Montréal artists, and as a musician himself, he currently plays keyboard and synth in two bands. After finishing his undergraduate degree, Saul plans to purse a degree in music production, technology, and innovation, so that he can help shape the future of music. For Saul, Generocksity is an organization that brilliantly utilizes the power of music to give back to those in need, and he is excited about the potential that it has in a city as vibrant as Montréal.
Ari Havusha: Street Team Member
Ari is pursuing a bachelor of social work at McGill University. He plans to work in the field of community development or family therapy. Ari was a high-level soccer player representing his city of Vancouver, BC throughout his teen years. Although, he endured several head injuries which shifted his path both academically and personally. He now presents workshops to high school students and teachers advocating the importance of concussion safety and awareness. Ari is extremely excited to be part of the Generocksity team and to make a positive impact on the Montreal community.
Eva Stulberg: Street Team Member
Eva is a first year student majoring in Creative writing at Concordia University. She has just returned from her gap year where she was traveling around Asia for 6 months. She had the most amazing experience and is excited to share what she learned through her stories, her poetry, and by giving back to the community. Eva is looking forward to discovering all that Montreal has to offer and to bring people together for a great cause.
